I then achieved a level 2 technician status and was part of a team responsible for the upkeep of 39 wind turbines (+90 MW) in the south east area with more coming online.Responsibilities include:• Service and breakdown for Vestas V27/29, V80/V90 2MW and V90 3MW turbines.• SAP (senior authorized person) responsible for switching of high voltage.• Responsible for the training of competent technicians.• Working to authorized written procedures and work instructions for planned service and repair/replacement under the Wind Turbine Safety Rules.• Fault finding and diagnoses using Vestas interface tools.• Project work including installation and commissioning. • Authorized to write and modify documentation before approval from authorizing engineers.• Constant monitoring of wind farm performance (LPF) and liaise with planning if work is required.
