About Marcus Burns
Previous ODP at Ramsay Healthcare active in all areas of theatre - anaesthetics, scrub and recovery. I have scrub experience within all areas of orthopaedic surgery that we provide at euxton. This includes: hand & foot, shoulder, knee and hip arthroscopy, knee and hip replacement. I also have scrub experience in general, urology and plastic surgery.Anaesthetic / PACU experience in all the above genres.As of 2018 I have been a Lead Theatre Practitioner at The Beaumont Hospital (BMI) in charge of the Anaesthetics and Recovery Area. This has involved managing contractual staff as well as bank, providing work rotas , interviewing potential work candidates and ensuring the smooth running a f two theatres. I am also a qualified Surgical First Assistant and regularly assist various Surgeons from all genres through out my working week.
