An adept writer/editor and analyst, I have professional experience researching clinical technologies and data, and extracting best-use practices for review and policy incorporation. For the past five years, I have been employed as a Policy Analyst for Select Health; primarily responsible for drafting new medical and coding policies, as well as updating existing policies. Responsibilities in this role also include managing the entire library of policies in extensive spreadsheets, running queries to obtain information about claims related to policies, researching current medical technologies and other payer policies, submitting policies for annual specialty review, and proofreading claim approval/denial letters submitted by our Medical Review team for grammar and accuracy. Currently, I am seeking other opportunities in data analysis that would allow me to further enhance my skills and career path.
