The work within the Robotic Manipulation laboratory resulted in two projects: Embedded control of a wrist rehabilitation robot and Embedded control of servomechanisms.The software development for a robotic wrist manipulator, composed of servomechanisms, was carried out. This involved the use of an embedded system with the Windows CE operating system and communication between servodrivers and control through an industrial CAN network with the CANOpen protocol. The software was integrated with serious rehabilitation games.The same software was applied to the SCARA robot (IBM), allowing for additional work with OPENCV and integration with Kinect.
