Marcus Cantu is a board certified orthopedic and sports physical therapist by the American Physical Therapy Association, a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic and Manual Physical Therapists and a Certified Athletic Trainer through the National Athletic Trainers Association. He is certified through the Titleist Performance Institute and Functional Movement Systems – FMS Level 1 Certified, and is a Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. His interests include rehabilitation of the shoulder, elbow, knee and spine through a focused integration of manual therapy and evidence-based movement science. He has worked in a variety of different roles in athletic training that include the NFL, NFL Europe, Collegiate, and High School Settings. Marcus graduated from Texas State University in 2003 and received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Women’s University in 2008. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in 2010. A native of Bandera, Texas, Marcus and his wife, Jessica, have two daughters, Sophia and Isabel, and a son, Eli.
