This internship also required me to use Canva to design digital postings that would persuade people to join our club and provide them with information about nutrition and fitness facts. Here, I discovered that managing a gym involves more than just teaching people how to work out; it also entails knowing how to handle a club's operational back office.

As a part-time employee of Activesg I continued my work from my internship, I continued to organize fun events for school kids as well as sports complex maintenance. However, I had additional duties, including scouting out potential event venues and supervising larger events like coast-to-coast trips for families. Another duty was to assist in enforcing safe distancing at peak hours as it would become quite packed. I gained experience handling more customer-focused tasks in a more front-line job, such as resolving irate customers and incorrectly booked reservations. Here, I developed my critical thinking skills and learned to be more patient with consumers, even when they are acting unreasonably.
