With a passion for the cosmetics industry, I have the unique experience of having worked on the supplier side as a National Account Manager and on the retailer side as a category buyer. As a NAM I was responsible for looking after Dept Stores within Australia as well as adept Store and Pharmacies in New Zealand. Responsibilities included creating and managing retailer strategies, introducing new product ranges, launching the brand into new retailers and managing a 20+ sales team.As a category buyer for some of the world's biggest cosmetic brands, this gave me an intimate knowledge into the success of each of these brands and their products. This helped me to develop and execute promotional strategies to launch new products, manage range selection, negotiate trading terms and drive overall category growth.
