Production Supervisor
Current• Conduct Burst test analysis logging to critique Run at Rate process issues and machine downtime.• Launch new equipment and processes during Start of Production ( SOP ).• Develop and implement New Operation Enhancement Strategies to achieve increased productivity, reduce scrap, and cost reduction.• Conduct start of production Error-Proofing and Equipment Cleanliness Sediment Audits.• Record all Big Ticket Scrap Items and present to finance a justification summary for due diligence.• Inventory all completed transmission units into serialized racking system• Perform daily update of Business Plan Development. ( Quality, Safety, Delivery, Human Capital, and Cost charting.)• Communicate and deliver non-conforming components to quality and supplier quality engineers (SQE).• Compile end of shift reporting which include production downtime, process status, and production counts.• Complete 5-Why and 8-D problem solving documentation when a process non-conformance occurs.• Conduct daily start of shift meeting to communicate any Quality, Safety, or Process Changes.• Monitor and evaluate data from Dynamometer test results to resolve any issues with Function, Adaptation, and Noise Vibration and Harshness that may hinder the quality and performance of the finished product.• Approve hourly employee’s time cards and vacation time.• Attend and participate in daily Throughput meetings to generate action plans to increase productivity.• Insure that all components in KANBAN staging are at correct revision level and parallel to BOM. • Maintain and update Job Instruction Training sheets as well as Flex Charts for cross training.• Consistent monitoring of entire production process to eliminate any machine, material or quality issues.• Evaluate and schedule production teardown processes in order to efficiently repair non-conforming transmission units, dis-assemble, and repurpose big ticket components to be re-introduced back into assembly process.
