Commercial Policy And Foreign Exchange Area

- Performed technical analyses for cases of unfair trade presented to the Commission in Charge of Investigating the Existence of Price Distortions in Imported Goods.- Monitored and analysed diverse foreign trade and commercial policy issues.- Developed the method for predicting the definitive value of copper exports for a timely incorporation in foreign trade statistics.

The Commission decides on the relevance of petitions referring to claims of price distortions in imported goods and petitions for safeguard measures. The Commission is the regulatory body in charge of implementing palliative measures if the case for unfair trade is proved and the conditions required by law are met.
