Enterprise Architect
CurrentSenior manager accountable for the delivery of the Enterprise Architecture service, Solution Architecture and associated functions within the ICT Service of Cornwall Council. Acountable for financial performance, service delivery and associated SLA’s, KPI’s and OLA’s related to the ICT Enterprise Architecture serviceSubject matter expert in Enterprise Architecture. Working with senior level management and manage outputs from Solution Architects, providing both leadership and subject matter expertise, to build a holistic view of the organisation's strategy, processes, information, and information technology assets. Ensures that the business and IT are in alignment, providing an overarching IT roadmap to realise business and IT strategies, making sure that change/transformation across the estate fit within that roadmap. Ownership of Cornwall Council’s Enterprise Architecture Repository which will be the foundation from which service and operational efficiencies are derived, being the single source of truth for documentary artefacts which describe the full scope of IT services.Governs and oversees all major and significant IT design and build activity, utilising resource internally from other teams or externally, such as through managed services or contractors. Accountable for the Cornwall IT Strategy, enterprise architecture and the roadmap to get there, recognised as a technology leader. Working alongside clients of the IT service to shape their business requirements into technical products that can be designed, built, tested and handed over to assurance to transition into service. Accountable for the formation and leadership of a cloud centre of excellence, delivering best practice principles, frameworks, standards and governance for design, selection and operation of cloud provided services both within and outside of the IT service.
