I am a lawyer that enjoys a mixed commercial/chancery practice on all aspects of domestic and international law and recognised in the 2024 Legal 500 as a leading junior barrister. Furthermore, I regularly undertakes cases involving complex contractual disputes, negligence, probate, trusts and insolvency. With the advent of blockchains and associated problems with crypto currency, I am developing my practice in this area for civil actions to recover such property and have given lectures on it.I am involved in all aspects of property law from landlord and tenant/ leaseholder disputes to those relating to the freehold status of a property such as boundary disputes or issues of adverse possession. Furthermore, I regularly attend the High Court on complex and high value detailed assessment of legal costs and I appear in the Crown Court & Magistrates' Courts across the country acting in for privately for individuals and organisations specialising in regulatory crime and fraud. Away from work I'm a keen sailor on the 63ft racing superyacht: Fatjax. In the past the team has won their class at Cowes Week, competed in the Rolex Fastnet Race (ending in the top five British boats), numerous circumventions of the Isle of Wight in the Round the Island Race plus represented Team GB in the Brewin Dolphin Commodores Cup. In 2023, I raced in Antigua Sailing Week. On a hiatus in 2024 whilst Fatjax tours the world (currently somewhere in the Pacific Ocean).
