From Construction Glazier to Apache Pilot: A Journey of Leadership and ExecutionMy career path may seem unconventional, but at its core, it's about building, leading, and executing complex tasks under pressure. I spent a decade honing my construction skills as a commercial and residential glazier, gaining a deep understanding of building systems and project management. This experience laid the foundation for my transition to the U.S. Army, where I served as an Airborne Infantryman.I rose through the ranks, mastering multiple roles from rifleman to squad leader, leading missions and commanding teams in demanding environments like Afghanistan. This instilled in me exceptional leadership skills, tactical thinking, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations.Always pushing for personal growth, I applied for Warrant Officer Flight Training – a highly competitive program – and was selected. I excelled in training, earning the opportunity to fly the AH-64D Apache helicopter. With over 700 flight hours under my belt, I honed my situational awareness, decision-making, and teamwork skills under extreme conditions.Beyond piloting, I served as a go-to planner for joint air-ground operations, contributing countless hours to complex mission planning, logistics, and supply chain management. This combined experience has fostered a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and strategic thinking.Now, leveraging my diverse background, I serve as a Project Engineer and Assistant QCM, aiming to transition into Project Management.
