Collaborated with industry professionals on a $140 million US Department of Energy project dedicated to the growth and development of the Frontier Observatory for Research in Geothermal Energy (FORGE) in Milford, Utah.This particular research is aimed at developing a matrix of numerical simulations to determine how to effectively interconnect an injection and a production well. Questions to be answered:• How many hydraulic fractures will be required?• What process specifications will be required to produce desirable fractures?• What will be the potential electrical power output? • How will this vary over a thirty-year period over which a typical power plant would be amortized?
