Nominated to be an SCGSR Fellow working with the MANTA team to develop a new multiplexing triple-axis spectrometer at the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) at Oak Ridge National Lab. During my appointment, I helped design and optimize the neutron guide system in McStas, a monte-carlo ray-tracing software. Additionally, I performed virtual neutron experiments on a MANTA simulation to visualize realistic neutron data from the instrument.
