Responsible for implementing SYSPRO ERP system across all Murray & Roberts Steel divisions and - in total 29 companies were implemented based on an initial standardized model. This model was then used as template to roll-out the group of companies on the same structures and standards.The implementation of SYSPRO included SYSPRO Finance (AP, AR, CB, GL, EFT), Distribution PO, SO and Manufacturing BOM,INV, ECC and integration to international rebar management system ArmaPlus.Steel was purchased and received in SYSPRO (group steel purchases) and transferred to ArmaPlus by entity linked to ArmaPlus purchase orders. Jobs were raised at entity level, delivered and invoiced, with integration back to SYSPRO .QlikView was installed across the group of companies and KPI's were build for procurement, stock, jobs/wip, customer orders with drill down abilities to individual stock/parts level, across all the entities or by entity specifically, enabling procurement director to plan bulk orders with the steel mills well in advance.The QlikView solution received a special acknowledgement award at the 2010 National BI conference in Johannesburg.

• Full (Wall to Wall) implementation of Syspro at BRC MESH Vereeniging, including bar coding (TransLution). (Finance, Manufacturing and Distribution) BRC Mesh manufactures MESH for the building and construction industries.• Implementation of Syspro for Freyssinet Posten including Projects and Contracts across 5 branches in South Africa. Freyssinet Posten is a South African/French company supplying post tensioning solutions to the construction industry in South Africa.• Project management of the development and implementation of a systems interface between ArmaPlus (a French production system for the rebar industry) and Syspro for Murray & Roberts Steel. This project required strong liaison with the French including interface design, database design, development and roll-out across all rebar business units of Murray & Roberts Steel across South Africa, Botswana and Mauritius.• Implementation of a Business Intelligence policy and procedures
