As the CTO of Rimgard and co-inventor of the products, I am responsible for overseeing and leading all aspects of product development and innovation for the company. I work closely with the product development team to design, develop and bring new products to market. This includes identifying opportunities for new products, conducting research and analysis, developing prototypes, and ensuring that all products meet the needs of our customers.In addition to product innovation, I am also responsible for overseeing mechanical design and drafting. This includes ensuring that all designs are functional, safe and meet regulatory standards. I work closely with the design team to develop and refine designs, and oversee the drafting of technical drawings and schematics.Design validation and testing is another critical aspect of my role. I develop and oversee testing plans to ensure that all products are thoroughly vetted and meet performance and quality standards. I analyze test results, troubleshoot any issues that arise, and work with the design team to make necessary modifications.As CTO, I also place great importance on supplier relations and evaluation. I work closely with our suppliers to evaluate their capabilities, ensure that our procurement processes are efficient and cost-effective, and manage any issues that arise.Finally, effective leadership skills are a crucial component of my role as CTO. I provide guidance and direction to my team, delegate tasks, and prioritize projects to ensure that we are delivering high quality, innovative products on time and within budget. I also forecast and procure components, working closely with our procurement team to ensure that we have the necessary materials to meet demand.Overall, my role as CTO of Rimgard is multifaceted and requires a wide range of skills and expertise.
