I have a PhD in Biology, specializing in Wildlife Biology and Wildlife Management. In my thesis I identified the underlying causes of why brown bears visit settlements and provided a new approach to the management of predators near people. I have worked with Wildlife Management and Nature Reserves for the County Administrative Boards of Dalarna, Skåne and Västra Götaland. I view myself as highly experienced at working with the management of large carnivore populations and ungulate populations. My main areas of expertise are Conservation Biology, Ecology and Wildlife Biology, and I am also a competent field worker, and have carried out several large mammal surveys. I have gained many years of experience in Wildlife Management and Research and have a wide personal network in Sweden and internationally.I have lectured in Theory of Science, introducing master students specifically in study design and fundamental concepts in statistics. I have applied generalized and linear mixed-effect models, with parsimonious model selection based on the information theoretic approach.
