I have simultaneously managed major projects and a range of competing priorities on a daily basis.Key achievements• Key client representative on the $130 million Centre for Children’s Health Research (CCHR) project, a multi-stakeholder research facility housing over 400 researchers. • Led the development and implementation of the operating models for the CCHR.• Led all aspects of the QCMRI 2010-2014 strategic planning process.• Contained operating budget expenditure during expansion phase of Institute, with operating costs increasing by less than 10% per year whilst the Institute grew from 50 members to over 200, and research income increased by 400% during this time. • Developed communication plan which resulted in broad media coverage for QCMRI and a growing reputation for the Institute. • Secured deal with higher education partner returning in excess of $1 million over 3 years to support the operations of QCMRI.• Contributed to the business case that leveraged a $500,000 philanthropic grant into a $5 million programme, securing $4.5million of cash and in-kind investment.• Led negotiations to establish several QCMRI groups with a University partner, resulting in additional funding flows of $660,000. • Negotiated affiliation agreement with QH's Children’s Health Service, including agreement on ownership of QH employed staff outputs and peppercorn rental for QCMRI.• Led the annual negotiations with the Children’s Health Foundation Queensland securing ~$5 million annually for research and infrastructure support. • Secured donations in excess of $500,000.
