Worked as an application architect and developer within the media monitoring product line.Development of a self-service search engine (web agent/media agent) for monitoring of large volumes (billions of items) of news coverage. During this project I worked with everything from gathering requirements, architecture and development. Special challenges included tailoring Lucene for specific requirements and building a distributed search engine on top of it.
