For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to serving the youth of Chicago's South Side, where I currently work as the Youth Program Director at South Side Help Center. I have a professional certificate in Non-Profit Management and multiple certifications in crisis prevention, CPR, and first aid. My core competencies include program development and execution, behavior intervention, restorative justice, and community engagement.I have successfully led and collaborated with diverse teams to create and deliver holistic and impactful youth development initiatives, addressing the social, emotional, academic, and health needs of youth. I have also adapted to the challenges of the pandemic, ensuring the continuity and quality of our services. I am deeply involved in the community, contributing to policy advocacy, partnership building, and resource mobilization. My mission is to advance equitable access to education and social services, catalyze sustainable change, and foster a culture of empowerment and resilience within our communities.
