High Street, is a retail concept inspired by my experiences shopping some of the best fashion "High Streets" the world had to offer, and particularly London's Oxford Street. The electric feeling of an overcast London day, with a fresh cup of white coffee and pret a manger snack in hand, wearing the latest lightweight fall sweater as you melt into the throngs of shoppers becoming connected to the collective excitement of exploring the boutiques, the city and all of its dynamic fashion, food, music, and night life...At High Street, we strive to create this feeling through lifestyle collections, events, having a shopping experience that is exciting, youthful, inspiring and creates a personal connection through design, merchandising and music, while featuring brands through their designer's intended perspective.The concept was established in September of 2013, the first retail store was opened in March of 2014 in Toronto's Queen and Bathurst area, which was recently named the 2nd Coolest Neighbourhood in the World by Vogue magazine in their September 2014 issue.
