Due to Visa problems I was not allowed to earn money in Australia in the beginning. So I started to work as a volunteer in a laboratory at the Brain and Mind Institute at the University of Sydney until my visa was granted. The OpenResearchGroup was launched in January 2005, a research and development group in the Computer Science department of the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences. The group focused on the OO development process, J2EE and Java, XML, and other OO technologies such as OODBMS.After joining the group I was tasked with standard project work in the development area. In this position I developed software based on the OO development process, J2EE and Java. After a while my role evolved into a project manager for complex tasks concerning JEE. When a further JEE project was launched, I assumed the position of a senior project manager for the entire project in the R&D group.
