I'm a native Houstonian who fell in love with Agriculture while studying at Prairie View A&M University. I have over 20 years of experience in youth development, working primarily with youth from limited-resource communities. I have 10 years of experience in urban agriculture, working with several local farmers and farms (Last Organic Outpost, Seeds of the Soil, Finca Tres Robles, Fresh Life Organics). I am a World Food Prize Global Guide (Cohort 4) and currently serving on the Racial Equity Lab with the National Farm to School Network.I am a grassroots organizer and program developer, working with low-income and limited-resource community organizations to develop and implement dynamic programs that meet community, clients, and organizational needs.
