I am an accounting student at the University of Tennessee with an expected graduation date of Spring 2025. I originally began as an engineering student due to my passion for math and science, but the coursework and internship experience did not align with my expectations. I transitioned to an exploratory major in the Fall of 2021, and one of the courses I took in that time was Accounting 200. I realized then that accounting was more suitable to my interests and better aligned with my career expectations, and officially changed my major to accounting in the Fall of 2022. I am currently seeking an internship with an accounting firm to gain real world experience and deepen my understanding of the field.I am a restorative problem-solver. I put as much energy and effort into solving problems as efficiently and quickly as I can. I utilize these intensive problem-solving skills to develop unique solutions to problems or applying those skills to learn more quickly. Setting objectives or goals is the way that I best manage my task orientation to determine what needs to be done and how I plan to do it, so that I can be effective as I can.
