-Lobbied and built a coalition of farmers, students, tribes, businessmen, and everyday people to pass hemp legislation in the State of Wisconsin. Doubled down on our coalition's efforts to pass national legislation that legalizes hemp under the 2018 Farm Bill and secured tribal sovereignty provisions within the legislation. - Work with Wisconsin farmers and guided them on the first hemp cultivation in the state in 67 years. Provided information on invasive species, market trends, growing techniques, and experience growing hemp in Wisconsin's climate. - Managed a team of three people and a handful of volunteers to educate the public on the benefits of hemp for the people and the planet. - Conducted feasibility studies and hemp's economic development potential over the next 3 years.
