My two years of National Service had definitely made me stepped out of my comfort zone, pushing me to my limits to meet the end goal. I managed to overcome two seemingly impossible activities: jumping down from a plane 1000ft above the ground and walking an arduous 72km route march. Values learnt, like perseverance, can definitely be brought forward to the journey in practicing physiotherapy, to not give up even when faced with ordeals.
