My Position as a buyer and sales associate relies on excellent communication skills to work with both customers and vendor representatives. I lead purchasing for the store by defining and allocating budgets, analyzing sales, researching markets, and writing and modifying orders. My position in buying also requires me to work closely with vendors to solve problems with products and shipments, and ensure deliveries arrive on time and in full. In my position as a sales associate, I spend much of my time working directly with customers to determine there product needs. After asking appropriate questions and deciphering their needs, I help them find the best product possible, and build a lasting relationship in the process. In addition to serving as a buyer and sales associate, I step in as manager and a teacher when it is possible. As a manager, I work with upset customers by listening to their concerns and finding solutions that benefit both the customer and the business. I also work with my coworkers to help maintain a good work environment and exceed goals. As a teacher in my work place, I help train my coworkers in all aspects of Trail and Ski. Some things I have done to help teach my coworkers include verbal teaching, writing manuals and procedures, and designing self explainable templates with Word, Excel, and Gimp photo editing softwares.
