Responsibilities:- formulate quotation letters, on a per job basis, in accordance with required specifications set out by structural steel governing bodies and customer requirements- prepare quotation price, on a per job basis, by interpreting customer architectural and engineering drawings, with a firm knowledge of customer specifications, using historical data, past and current market values, sub trade costs, labour rates, profit margins and intuition.Key Accomplishments:- Created and implemented a process by which request for quotations where to be organized and researched in order to make knowledgeable decisions on which projects to bid.- Awarded a 3 million dollar project, which I prepared the quotation for, which amounted to approximately 20% of sales for that year.

Responsibilities:- lead a team of draftsmen and checkers toward a goal of completing customer orders for structural steel buildings within the constraints of standards and strict time lines- read and interpret engineering and architectural customer drawings to produce installation erection diagrams in SDS/2 and or AutoCAD that are used to coordinate the project from start to completion on site- interact with engineering and architectural firms as required to obtain information for the project- coordinate part drawings through the detailing, checking and fabrication processesKey Accomplishments:- Broke new ground with existing 3D software, SDS/2, to generate installation erection diagrams for the first time in the companies then usage of the program. The result was an average time savings of about 20 - 30 percent in drafting hours on a per job basis.

Produce detailed part drawings for steel fabrication using current applicable codes.- Create installation drawings for field installation crews.- Problem solved inquiries from installation crews during tower construction.- Communicate directly with clients and consultants regarding all facets of tower specifications, queries and clarifications as required.Key Accomplishments: -Chief detailer on a new tower product line that successfully broke ground for Trylon in a large previously untapped market in the USA. -Head detailer on custom tower product line that established Trylon as a leader in supplying radar towers in Canada and internationally.

Drive the new Engineering service of Site Development from its inception to a lucrative engineering service.- Manage all areas including scheduling of sub-contractors, quoting, pricing comparisons, site visits, detailing drawings, and interaction with clients on a per job basis.- Developed professional relationships with clientele and sub-contractors.- Spearhead international work to broaden base of new service.Key Accomplishments:- Domestically drove to completion approximately 40 sites for major North America cellular carrier customers, which turned a profit for this new service into the $100,000 range.- Internationally spear headed Site development into a number of Caribbean and Latin America countries establishing our presence, producing a new lucrative business market that has flourished.
