I am a Marine Corps helicopter pilot, husband, and dad to two amazing elementary school kids who’s making the big jump from helicopters to airplanes. I’ve been through a few major transitions in my career, but the simultaneous change from military to civilian and helicopters to airplanes is the biggest challenge I’ve ever faced. I’m switching from being comfortable in my shoes to not knowing where I fit. For me, a pilot is so much more than someone who can just fly an airplane. I’m looking to find a team who believes in building strong relationships, who is continuing to look for new ways to improve and provide better customer experiences and is looking to grow and develop the people around them. I’m working hard to understanding the new language, culture, opportunities, and culture of the world I’m jumping into. I find the process thrilling, frightening, and confusing all at the same time!
