About Marcus Hope
I am currently working towards completing my PhD in Sports Science and investigating the clinical needs for returning athletes from long-standing injuries caused by the sporting environment. I am also working with the University of Derby as a research fellow and guest lecturer within the sports department. I am an avid sports performer and have competed to a national standard in the 400m x 4 relay racing before I became injured in 2015. Since my injury, I have taken on athletics coaching within the Nottinghamshire community to disadvantaged children.
