Working on various cases at PUCE (Universidad Catolica) but more specifically, I am co authoring a paper for the Inter American Commission on Human Rights about the oil exploitation of the Yasuni National Park and its effect on the ecosystem and various indigenous communities in isolation.

During my time at Nonviolence International, I was given multiple responsibilities including various administrative activities, working and collaborating with various human rights and Palestinian solidarity organizations, and public relations work which entailed attending events and promoting our services. I worked for Palestine Media Project, a targeted campaign by Nonviolence International, and was responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the online media resources as well as the campaigns public relations.

In August 2012, Josh Michaels, Ibraheem Samirah, Benjamin Lawrence and I cofounded the American University Chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace. Jewish Voice for Peace members are inspired by Jewish tradition to work together for peace, social justice, equality, human rights, respect for international law, and a U.S. foreign policy based on these ideals.JVP opposes anti-Jewish, anti-Muslim, and anti-Arab bigotry and oppression. JVP seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem; security and self-determination for Israelis and Palestinians; a just solution for Palestinian refugees based on principles established in international law; an end to violence against civilians; and peace and justice for all peoples of the Middle East.After founding the group, we began to create and cosponsor events, such as panel discussions about Apartheid and Occupation, Human Rights campaigns to end unconditional aid to Israel, Boycott Campaigns against products produced in the illegal settlements in the West Bank and educational workshops promoting dialogue and discussion about relevant topics.

Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) is a college student activism organization in the United States and Canada that promotes the liberation and self-determination of Palestinian people. The goals of the organization are to strengthen the student movement for Palestinian rights and develop a better understanding of the situation in Palestine. The organization actively supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

At the New London Homeless Hospitality Center (NLHHC) I was responsible for two things. Firstly, I was tasked with administrative activities such as working the reception, organizing files, and planning day to day events. Secondly, it was my responsibility to create an operational online store for the local thrift shop, which provides funding for the NLHHC, in order increase its revenue, and thus funding, of the shelter.

As an intern at the Center for Strategic and International Studies my duties were to write reports on meetings concerning issues such as human rights, peace and conflict resolution and international economic policy. Additionally, I wrote briefing papers about issues such as the creation of a public service university and the impact this would have on the public sector.

At Hogar Dulce Hogar, I was responsible for helping the staff prepare food, prepare and administer the class rooms, in which we taught basic English, Spanish and Math and additionally we cleaned up after the children.
