I have been shooting sports and editorial photography for more than 30 years. I've covered professional sports, college, high school sports, and youth athletics as a writer and photographer. I shoot sports because I enjoy the challenge of getting "the" image that tells the story. Shooting pro sports is exciting but predicable. But youth sports, especially the younger set, are much more fun and enjoyable, because they are so unpredictable. That unpredictability also makes photographing them much more challenging, and enjoyable.
