I have 25 years experience in roles across the FMCG, retail, logistics, construction materials, infrastructure and e-commerce sectors. Whilst being a qualified financial professional, my responsibilities and experience have been broad and included project management, procurement, process and systems change, insurance and legal claims, utilities and electricity distribution.I spent my early career in various financial and commercial roles at Unilever. This included substantial project management and systems experience, managing an international team harmonising processes across their European businesses. Later roles included restructuring and implementation of new technology in the logistics network at Booker Cash & Carry and Iceland Foods, and supporting strong growth, both organic and through acquisition, at Kingspan Group.My time at Peel Ports Group was a period of private equity driven restructuring and investment for the business. I delivered increased profitability and growth with a program that included substantial capital investment. Most notably this included being part of the core team developing the business case and delivering the first phase of the new £400m ‘Liverpool 2’ container terminal.I am a strategic thinker who acts as a catalyst, bringing people together to find solutions. I am passionate about creating wider access to development and employment opportunities, and the vital role that sustainable business must play in doing this.
