I was PMP certified July 2008 and have strong working knowledge of the PMBOK. I strive to apply concepts of the Agile methodology to project management and non-software projects. In 2019 I earned my ITILv4 certification. In 2020 after many years running security projects, I was finally certified as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).Early in my career I delivered projects involving infrastructure transformation, building mobile applications, building one of the world's largest intranets, and managing the deployment of two nationwide VoIP systems. I have led company-wide rollouts of desktop software and hardware, coordinated application security testing, and managed a team to manually change the configurations of hundreds of cell towers.I am a road warrior - I have worked all up and down the west coast, from Seattle to San Diego as well as Norristown PA, Bentonville AR, New Orleans LA, and College Park MD. In 2014 I worked to Koh Samui, Thailand and ended the year leading projects in Buenos Aires, Argentina. 2015-2017 I spent more time at sea than on land, and lived in New Zealand for 3 months. In 2018 I spent most of my time in the Philippines before moving to the Washington DC area at the end of that year. In 2021 moved to Costa Rica for a project, and in 2023 I completed on a second project in the Philippines before returning to Washington DC. I have lots of international experience and no issues relocating or traveling for work.
