Quality Assurance• Responsible for maintaining elements of the AS9100D / ISO 9001:2015 certification in an aerospace environment. Coordinate with multiple team members concerning development, updates, and general maintenance of the quality management systems documentation.• Certified Lead Auditor performing, scheduling, recording audits and audit results. • Support other Quality team members ensuring that products manufactured meet all customer’s requirements for conformity through internal audits, customer and regulatory audits, and the review and approval of part drawings, design change requests, and standard work procedures.• Focus on continuous improvement activities, root cause determination, and corrective action implementation as well as other support activities within the Quality group.• Provide support to the Training Department through stamp issuance for trained inspectors, while updating and maintaining an inspection stamp log.• Maintain and update QAD (MRP System) for new and updated part number Trademark system for Notice of Revisions (NORs) which will trigger further updates to internal documents• When rework and repair procedures are built, provide support with the management of them within QMS.• When PMA is requested, must formally request to the FAA via letter, file, and update PMA STC List with updated supplement- this requires also to update internal documentation.• Complete customer documentation including customer postal (desktop) audits/surveys.• Participation in new product documentation reviews as well as revisions to the existing product documentation to ensure the robustness of quality processes.
