In vehicles, the Tech repairs small chips or removes/replaces damaged windshields and other auto glass. In residential homes, Techs install/replace windows, mirrors, shower doors, bathtub enclosures, and specialty glass applications such as tabletops and display cases. In commercial projects, Techs install items such as heavy, often etched, decorative room dividers or security windows and other glass and mirror applications. Promoted to assistant lead operator my task is to set up the machines every morning. By checking each wheel to make sure that it doesn't need to be replaced or need to be replaced. Check in all the main water lines to make sure no areas clog to overheat the machine. The glass are polish through the machine are all hand flip size glass with no crane that weigh up to 100 pound or more. There slight maintenance on the machine which require to deep clean the machine every two weeks.

The main purpose was polishing the largest pieces of glass. Other tasks mitering variety degree angle of glass. There are 3 different size glass thickness 1/4,3/8 and half inch.
