I'm a tech entrepreneur. I explore (opportunities), validate (innovations), and do (realize them together with passionate partners).I led ComfyLight, a Swiss based IoT start-up, from first sketch to Go-to-Market during the last 5 years. In 2012, I started with a general exploration of the Smart Home market. After collecting feedback from potential users, industry experts, and trials, I sketched the first product idea on a blanc sheet of paper in 2013. Together with my later Co-Founder Stefanie Turber, we realized a field test, won 200K CHF of price money, and enthused seed investors. In July 2015, we founded ComfyLight as a team of seven. Our results: more than 100 media reports, numerous awards (incl. the CES Innovation Award), and the first 2.000 delivered products.Having studied at a natural scientific university (TU Dresden, diploma computer science), a generalist “grande école” (École Centrale Paris, diploma), and a leading business school (HSG, research associate), my skill set is eclectic: from cause-and-effect chains, via holistic models, to iterative innovation approaches.Core professional skills: Entrepreneurship, IoT, computer science, scrum, mechanical engineering, lean development, user experience, user testing, Go-to-Market, business development, fundraising, recruiting.
