I am an experienced B2B and B2C development manager, my current role as the Traffic and Transportation Business Development Manager includes being responsible for managing both the Business Development and Blue Badge teams within Parking Services at Derby City Council and overseeing the technical and financial operations for the service.I began working in the local parking sector in mid-2016, and during this time, I have built up vast knowledge and expertise in the field. I am always looking to up-skill and as part of my development, I achieved a qualification in Digital Marketing through the Local Council Apprenticeship scheme, to better support the needs of the business.My time at Derby City Council has allowed me to be part of a multi-award winning team, which I can proudly say I designed and wrote the award submissions for.Our team's achievements include the international award-winning self-serve slot booking tool for the Raynesway Refuse site in Derby via MiPermit, a cashless parking platform. I was also apart of the national award-winning team who created the Safe Haven Outside Schools project, which is used across multiple sites within Derby, improving the safety of school children and providing car free zones during school pickup and drop off times.We are accredited with a WITSA Global Excellence ICT Award along with two British Parking Awards (2020, 2021) as well as being a finalist in the 2022 and 2024 British Parking Awards.
