Marcus is the Executive Chairman of PwC Singapore and brings with him a strong sense of purpose, strategic leadership and business insight. Having joined PwC Singapore in 1995, he is a core member of the firm's Leadership Team and led its Assurance Practice from 2017 - 2021, focusing on enhancing #audit quality and technology enablement to deliver greater trust and transparency. In the coming years, he will be bringing together the best of PwC Singapore's people, diverse capabilities and technology to find new ways to solve the toughest problems facing our world today.Outside of PwC, Marcus is active in contributing to the development of the accounting profession. He is a former council member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and is a board member of the Accounting Standard Council Singapore. Passionate about education and giving back to the community, he also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Singapore Polytechnic Board of Governors, the Chairman of the Edusave Advisory Council under the Ministry of Education, and the Vice President of the Parkinson Society of Singapore. He also serves as the Chairman of Nanyang Business School Alumni Board.
