The focus of my legal practice is advice on offshore corporate and private wealth matters including trusts, foundations, investment funds, banking, corporate and commercial work. I am a solicitor admitted in the BVI, an advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey, a solicitor admitted in England and Wales and a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.I joined the Guernsey office of Ogier in 1999 and became a partner in 2005. I re-located to the Hong Kong office of Ogier in 2010 where I lead the Private Wealth and the Banking and Finance practice groups. Before joining Ogier I practised with the Auckland office of Russell McVeagh (1993 to 1999) and Arthur Andersen (1992 to 1993). I am a member of STEP. I am also a member of The Hong Kong Joint Committee on Trust Law Reform, a body representing STEP, Hong Kong Trustees' Association and other industry groups working with and advising the Hong Kong government on the reform of Hong Kong trust law.I am a speaker at numerous conferences and seminars, a regular contributor of articles to professional journals and recognised by industry commentators as a specialist in my areas of expertise.Admitted in:2010 - British Virgin Islands 2004 - Guernsey2004 - England and Wales (not practising)1993 - New Zealand (not practising)
