5 Leonard Enterprises llc was a vendor to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution and was responsible for the distribution of its newspaper within the Clayton, Fayette, and Newton County regions. While employed with 5 Leonard Enterprises, I was able to progress to the level of manager and take on greater responsibilities. My role as a manager ended in April once 5 Leonard Enterprises, llc was no longer a vendor for the Atlanta-Journal Constitution, but my responsibilities continued as a consultant for 2 months. My responsibilities, while employed there, were as follows:As a Warehouse Captain:- Ensure that carriers arrived in a timely manner and to ensure that carriers received the correct number of papers to match their designated route.- Verify that the bill of laden/ delivery matched with the warehouse paper work-Tidy and clean warehouse after carriers have already left for their delivery-Answer any questions that carriers may have with regard to the warehouse and its functions-Ensure that carriers have all the equipment that is needed to perform their duties- Ensure that all paid advertisements are present and available to carriersAs Inserter and Manager:- Ensure that all Sunday papers were inserted properly and available for carriers to perform their duties quickly- Supervise quality and efficiency of other inserters- Input data from single copy carriers, carriers who delivery to stand alone shops like gas stations and grocery stores, as they return information though out the week and weekend.- Flag any discrepancies in data entry and notify upper management- Collect total accounts receivable from carriers in charge of collecting payments from stand alone buisnesses, perform necessary paperwork for Atlanta-Journal Consitiution (for accounting purposes) and notify upper management of any changes pertaining to sales and volume- Perfomed volume adjustment for stand alone locations for the purpose of maximizing sales and reducing net loss.

Received training specifically for the purpose of becoming a manager over one of there locations.
