The Border Studies Program is a collaboration between Earlham and Haverford College to provide students with the opportunity to gain a holistic perspective of migration issues having to do with our Southern border focusing on the Tucson and Nogales junction. As the Trip Manager I led a group of nine undergraduate students on a week-long educational field study of immigration issues between the US/Mexico border in Tucson, AZ and Nogales, Sonora exposing students to diverse perspectives by meeting with migrants, Border Patrol agents, activists, legal experts, visiting detention centers, and migrant trails.

Clinical Directors Network Inc is a not-for-profit clinician membership organization, practice-based research network, and clinician traning organization, founded to provide peer-initiated activities for clinicians practicing in low income, minority, and other underserved communities. Their overall goal is to translate clinical research into clinical practice for the enhancement of health equity and improvement of health. As an intern I:- Compiled and organized data for publications- Observed epidemiologists during visits to clinical health centers to assess implementation strategies- Discussed the ethics of research involving human subjects in revisory meetings- Produced a broadcast of a webinar on health and a promotional video for the organization.
