Lindhtech L&M is a creative company producing hardware/software and media for use in the entertainment industry. Some highlights of developed products are a sophisticated computer controlled pyrotechnical firing system, a mind controlled game (Thetaball), laser show projectors and a DMX/media control system. The company have also produced several short films.

The position as electrical engineer at the payloads and rocket department involves various electronic related tasks. The SCI P&R department designs, manufactures and launches scientific experiment and on board systems on sounding rockets and balloons from SSC Esrange Space Center. SSC Space has participated in more than sixty sounding rocket operations since the early 1970's, launched more than 560 rockets and 630 balloons and provides services to scientists, space organizations and commercial customers worldwide.As an electrical engineer the job involves development, design and manufacturing of PCB's, testing, assembly and an overall responsibility of the electrical system in the sounding rocket and experiment modules. During rocket launch campaigns the job includes build up of the rocket payload, set-up and verification of ground station equipment and finally rigging of launcher and rocket launch operations. In episode 11 of tv-series "Vetenskapens Värld", 2016, Marcus and his colleagues are followed during the build-up and launch of the northern lights research rocket SPIDER/LEEWAVES.Besides the electronics, Marcus is the deputy director in Solna of the pyrotechnics used in the experiment modules on the rockets. Stand-in work during holidays. The work was related to the RM20 paper winding and cutting machine for the PM10 paper machine line. The work included calibration, set-up, maintenance and operation of the winding machine and the paper machine.

The master thesis was carried out at "The Department of Space and Plasma Physics", SPP, at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. The thesis named "Development and Implementation of Star Tracker Electronics" focuses on the implementation of an innovative VHDL algorithm in a hardware FPGA for near real-time detection of stars and magnitudes in an image received from a CCD sensor. The goal was to develop a tiny system suitable for cubesats. Beside the hardware implemented algorithm a debug and test software was developed in C# for calibration and testing of the star detection algorithm.

"Technology does not exist in Nature – all technology is designed by man. While the natural sciences focus on laws of Nature, the science of technology is mainly concerned with the methods that humans use to design and manufacture objects to fulfill our wants and desires. Engineering Science extends the science of technology to include topics as mathematical modelling, the science of technology, and the engineer’s professional role. These are also the main topics for this course in Engineering Science."As a teacher in this course presentations and exercises in engineering sciences was held with the students. The exercises included mathematical modelling, specification of laboratory tasks but also covered presentation techniques and argumentation methods targeted for large audiences.

A large amount of mechanical drawings are produced and stored at the department of mechanics at Stora Enso Kvarnsveden. During a 3-month period the drawings were organized and transferred to the SAP system in use and linked to physical positions throughout the factory. The drawings included CAD files and specifications for paper machines and other manufacturing equipment. Due to the large amount of date and files, some scripts were programmed to speed up and automate some of the processes in the file transferring.

Stand-in work during holidays at the central warehouse for wheelchairs, mobility- and other helping aids. At this position I was responsible for incoming and outgoing goods. The job included quality control of incoming goods and booking of transport for outgoing goods.
