I assisted with interviews, on-boarding, and ongoing training for up to 50 full-time/part-time managers, remote CSRs, and maintenance techs to cover a portfolio of manned and unmanned locations. I managed budgets to be aligned with the goals of each business or investor. I led operational systems, processes, and infrastructure; and ensured that regulatory, and legal rules were followed at all times. I played a significant role in long-term planning, status reporting, and implementing change control processes. Through close collaboration with the Co-owners and investors, I worked to ensure all operational, administrative, and compliance functions within the company were properly executed in accordance with best practices and company policy.

Spent 70% of my time traveling and setting up stores SecureSpace would acquisition, and facilitate training for all managers within the Southeastern District. I was there when they grew from 17 locations to 40+ within 1 year so itnwas a great experience. I completed software conversions, facility audits, hiring/training managers, and then would support and help all teams in hitting monthly goals after going on to the next location. I gained experience in overseeing 15+ locations manned or unmanned at any given time.

Gibsonton Storage was bought out by Secure Space Self Storage. I was able to learn how to operate from a corporate structure and be a part of a great team of self storage professionals. They had a very aggressive growth plan and had no shortage of ladders to climb. Making it a great fit for someone new to the industry like myself.

Gained vital experience running a facility with a 700+ unit mix of climate/non-climate controlled units. I facilitated auctions using traditional methods and was responsible for managing lien dates and newspaper ads. During my time there, I gained valuable insights on how to operate a Class-A site effectively.When I started, the physical occupancy was only at 30%. However, with my hard work and dedication to the job around the clock during lease up, I managed to increase the occupancy to 80% and 100+ reviews before the facility was sold to SecureSpace Self Storage.

As an assistant chef, I was responsible for managing a highly coordinated team of cooks at a steakhouse located in Downtown Lakeland.

(3rd shift) As a Behavior Technician, I managed medication distribution and data collection for each individual residing at the behavior focus group home. I implemented routine bed checks, data audits, and post-crisis management when necessary. Conflict escalation was handled through effective de-escalation and resolution techniques, which typically led to positive outcomes.

I started as a Tile Specialist and Salesman, where I successfully facilitated sales ranging from $5 samples to $50,000 restaurant expansions. I was then trained in worldwide XPO and local R&L logistics programming to ensure consistent material delivery to customers at over 100+ locations.Due to my success in the sales and logistics department, I was promoted to Customer Service Representative, where I learned how to effectively engage with regular and professional customers alike. This role emphasized the importance of being efficient and working at a fast pace.

As a Crew Lead, I was responsible for running concession stands and ensuring they were fully stocked and operating during business hours. I coordinated schedules for theater cleaning, staff breaks for teams up to 20, and stock deliveries. This experience taught me the importance of providing consistently high levels of customer service, regardless of the number of patrons in attendance. Or how much money they spent to enjoy that film.
