Platform Manager for SpaceIQ’s next-gen microservices platform built on Kafka and Ruby. (SpaceIQ was purchased by Eptura)• Contributed to the architecture and standards of a new microservices platform. Migrated key Serraview functionality to the new platform. (project was cancelled by Eptura purchase)• Designed and delivered a Ruby application to stream data from heritage databases to Kafka leveraging Debezium. A YAML domain specific language allowed rapid updates and reuse of complex logic across multiple connectors.

BI Manager delivering a new Snowflake & Looker BI solution for Serraview• Architected the solution and led a remote global team of 6 developers and QA to successful delivery• Developed an ETL from MS SQL to Snowflake using AWS python lambdas and AWS S3• Complex data transformations with real time data in Snowflake to enable fast and insightful reporting possible on sensor and booking data.• Performant historical reporting joining real time data to historical entity values• CI/CD pipeline with end-to-end testing resulted in near-perfect production uptime (1 incident!)
