Implementing public education to improve healthy food and lifestyle choices among families and individuals encompassing youth and a selected adults in Oneida County. Working with youth and the selected adults, Programming includes presenting nutrition education workshops, events or food demonstrations that focus on general nutrition, food preparation, food safety and food budgeting. Food demonstrations and tasting occur at a variety of chosen locations. Nutrition education may take place at a variety of locations including County agencies, libraries, and local businesses.
