As the Assistant to the SVP of Corporate/Interactive Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, I play a pivotal role in driving our team’s success across the Film, TV, Gaming, and Sports divisions. I’m deeply passionate about my work, but one of my proudest responsibilities is leading our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. I focus on closing the opportunity gap for underrepresented youth to access careers in the Film, TV, Animation, and Gaming industries—a mission that resonates deeply with me.In my role, I wear multiple hats to ensure seamless operations and a positive candidate experience. I strategically post new job openings, coordinate an executive's calendar with precision, and manage critical data within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS). My responsibilities extend to scheduling interviews, initiating background checks, and crafting offer letters for new hires.Beyond these tasks, I serve as a key point of contact for candidates, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout the recruitment process. I’m also deeply involved in our company culture, leading initiatives within employee resource groups such as "Life at Skydance" and "Skydance Athletics." In these groups, I leverage my leadership skills to plan impactful events, foster community, and drive engagement across the company.

As the President of the NAMIC SoCal chapter, I have the honor of directing all programs, events, and activities for a vibrant network of over 300 entertainment and communications professionals. In this role, I lead our chapter’s efforts to create impactful opportunities for growth, networking, and professional development within the industry.At NAMIC, our mission is to advance diversity and inclusion in the media and technology industries by fostering equitable representation at all levels, from entry-level positions to the boardroom. As a Graduate Student Advisor at the Academy of Art University (AAU), I took pride in enhancing student retention by autonomously managing a diverse portfolio of over 300 graduate students across the globe. My students spanned the Architecture, Industrial Design, Interior Architecture & Design, and Landscape Architecture MA and MFA programs, and I was dedicated to helping each of them navigate their academic journeys and graduate on time.Building meaningful relationships was at the heart of my role—I connected with students virtually, over the phone, and in person, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure their success. I’m particularly proud of my contributions that went beyond advising:Facilitated Learning & Development (L&D) training for my teammates, sharing best practices and strategies that elevated our collective ability to support students effectively.Led Tri-Annual curriculum reviews with executive staff, driving discussions that shaped the academic experience and ensured our programs remained relevant and impactful.Founded the AAU Bookclub as a resource group dedicated to Community Development, creating a space where students and staff could come together, share ideas, and foster a sense of belonging.These experiences not only allowed me to impact the academic outcomes of my students but also to contribute to the university’s broader mission of fostering a vibrant, supportive learning environment.

In a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, I efficiently juggled multiple responsibilities, including selling tickets and upgrades, checking in guests, and ensuring seamless alignment of PNR and VCR records using airline software.Every day required me to think on my feet and apply creative problem-solving to coordinate accommodations and address customer needs, all while maintaining a calm and organized approach. My ability to manage time effectively was crucial in delivering high-quality service swiftly and accurately.One of the achievements I’m particularly proud of is being part of a dedicated team that consistently provided the #1 ranked customer experience among US airlines. We took immense pride in this accomplishment, knowing that our commitment to excellence made a tangible difference in our passengers’ journeys.

As a City Year member, I had the profound responsibility of coaching a diverse caseload of 60 at-risk middle school students, helping them get back on track to graduate on time. This experience was not only rewarding but also foundational in shaping my approach to leadership and service.Key highlights from my time in this role include:Leading Learning and Development workshops for my peers, where I shared strategies and tools to enhance our collective impact.Completing 300 hours of training on diversity, equity, and belonging, which deepened my understanding and commitment to creating inclusive environments.Receiving a peer-voted service award, a recognition that I hold close to my heart, as it reflected the respect and trust of my teammates.Founding a Retention Committee to address organizational marginalization, a project that aimed to ensure every voice within our team was heard and valued.And of course, one of my fondest memories is our team’s unique way of closing out a long day: “Peace up, A-Crane down!” A phrase that bonded us and reminded us of our shared purpose.
