Associate Attorney
Current▪ Prepares petitions to the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS), along with responding to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), maintaining a 99% success rate. ▪ Advises employers and individuals on U.S. immigration law and procedures for employment-based matters including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, I-140, and I-485 applications. ▪ Conducts family-based consults, leading to the initiation of I-130 Petitions to benefit principal immigrants and their dependents. ▪ Facilitates consular processing (including I-601A, Unlawful Presence Waivers) for immediate relatives of U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents. ▪ Represents individuals before USCIS and interprets interviews (I-485 Adjustment of Status and N-400 Citizenship) from English to Spanish to achieve desired immigration results. ▪ Collaborates with partners, attorneys, paralegals, and supporting staff in a work environment to maintain a high-volume caseload. ▪ Explores immigration options such as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrival (DACA), U-Visa, Temporary Protected Status (TPS), and special considerations of Parole in Place (PIP) for military family members.
