Each day I work with an incredibly talented team that is wholesomely focused on providing the upmost luxurious and satisfying hotel experience. My department is in charge of handling all guest relations and needs. We help provide a culture to our community that is in place to help the guest feel at home. I was given an opportunity to travel and experience 4 out of 6 current WaterWalk properties. The chance to travel allowed me to see other markets and property designs in the Dallas and Kansas City areas. WaterWalk is a company that is paving it's own way through the norm of an extended stay brand. Expect great things in the near future!

Near the end of my college career I chose to find a new opportunity in a field that I would be constantly building new relationships. Landing my first position as security was a great start to something special. The long nights and often highly vocal and celebratory customers, I found a love for the Hospitality Industry. My first promotion was straight to Bartending, where I struggled at first learning the ropes. After a few months I became a natural in the element of chaos. As I proved my work ethic and maintained the customer relationships I was given the opportunity to become the Assistant General Manager. In this new job I was in charge of the staff, hiring/firing, scheduling, accounting deposits, & client retention. I worked very hard to build a culture in our bar that would bring customers back.

My time with Jimmy John's began as an in-shop Sandwich Master, then as I excelled in many facets of the company I was promoted. My first promotion was into the catering department. While working in the catering department I traveled to Dallas, TX to help ramp up sales during a slow period. The area of work I showed most promise in was building new relationships through marketing and sales. I decided to follow an opportunity in Operations Management where I would have the opportunity to work and grow with a talented team in a new city. I relocated to Lawrence, KS where I went to University and worked full time as a shift manager until my time with Jimmy John's came to an end in 2016.
