Doctoral degree from the postgraduation program of the Genetics and Molecular Biology Department (PPGBM) located at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). My main research area is immunoinformatics and transcriptomics, more specifically, the development of new methodologies and tools for the prediction of new vaccine targets. Part of my doctoral studies were done at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies, located in the city of Heidelberg, Germany, in the so-called sandwich doctorate module. My key competencies lie in modeling and molecular dynamics, meta-analysis of transcriptomics, programming (shell script, R and python), different operating systems (Linux and Windows), as well as in a good domain knowledge in immunology, genetics and molecular biology. My main goal for the future is either finding a position as a lecturer with an option to progress towards a group leadership or a more long-term engagement as a researcher.
